Engaging the Next Generation of Parents
This presentation, for teachers and other school staff, focuses on the changing expectations of parents, and teaches participants how to develop ongoing conversations about the educational success of their students, their schools, and their districts.
It includes tips and tactics that can be implemented immediately as well as an overview of the strategic use of new social media tools, including Facebook and Twitter.
Media Training for School Leaders
Attendees will gain an in-depth understanding of all aspects of working with the media including handling media calls, interviewing for print, radio and television, and presenting complex information in a manner that’s easy to understand.

In addition to providing information on easily-implemented communications practices, emphasis is placed on programs which can be carried out immediately.
Communications Planning for District Leaders
The key to effective communication is a strong communications plan. In this interactive program, Joe Donovan will walk education leaders through the communications planning process.
This program is especially popular among educational service agencies and often includes one-on-one communications planning work with individual school leaders.
